Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Surveyor to join our team at DCS Group. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting topographic surveys, route planning, and land acquisition activities. You will play a crucial role in gathering and interpreting data to support our ongoing projects, specifically in the railway corridor sector. This is a full-time position based in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, India.
Qualifications And Skills
A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Surveyor in a relevant field.
Proficient in surveying techniques, equipment, and software.
Strong knowledge of topographic surveys, contours, and route planning.
Experience with railway corridor projects is highly preferred.
Ability to interpret survey data and generate accurate reports and drawings.
Familiarity with land acquisition processes and regulations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Valid certification or license in surveying is a plus.
Roles And Responsibilities
Conduct topographic surveys to collect accurate data on land features, contours, and structures.
Utilize surveying equipment and software to measure and record precise measurements.
Assist in route planning for railway corridors, considering factors such as elevation, curves, and land use.
Contribute to land acquisition activities by assessing the suitability and impact of potential sites.
Prepare detailed reports and drawings based on survey data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide survey data and support ongoing projects.
Stay updated with industry standards and advancements in surveying techniques and technology.
Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while conducting surveying activities.
