Role & responsibilities

He would be responsible for strategizing, implementing, and driving sales in the organisation through his industrial sales connects. He should be able to build and nurture connections with corporate and government decision – makers to sell products.

Reporting - CEO

Location – South India.

Team Size -10 people approx. (sales, costing and customer service)

Responsibilities -

He would be responsible to drive sales for the organisation by developing sales strategies.
Influence senior stakeholders within customers' organisations and premier buyers in the industry.
Keep himself up breast with the market trends and competitor activity and provide insights to maintain a competitive edge.
He should have a good understanding of costing -production and sales cost how it would have an impact on the profitability.
He should be able to maintain good relationship with the various departments like Finance, Production, and supply chain.
Interact and maintain a good relationship with customers (existing and potential). He should look at business opportunities to provide solutions to customers. He is required to build and maintain quality relationships with customers, stakeholders within and outside. Retention of existing customers by maintaining a good relationship with them and focus on continuous improvement.
He is responsible to motivate and drive his team members.

Preferred candidate profile

MBA with minimum of 15 years' experience.
Must have experience in B-to-B sales especially to the large heavy industries - groups and oil & gas industry.
Should have handled sales value of 250 crore plus preferably responsible at a national level or at least for two regions.
Should be a self-starter and a good visionary.
He should good strong influencing, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
